Jet Guitars PS 480 BK Black Pickguard A JS480 with worn-out pickguard edges is given a new lease of life thanks to the PS480BK from Jet Guitars. This black pickguard, modelled on the factory design, screws on without the need for drilling and acts as a shield against the marks left by years of pick use.

The body of a JS480 endures, session after session, the repeated impacts of a misaligned pick. Jet Guitars addresses this inevitable wear and tear with the PS480BK, an original replacement plate finished in the same matt black as the factory-fitted version.
The template matches every existing mounting hole on the body, allowing for direct installation without the need for drilling or adjusting the bridge pickup. A Phillips-head screwdriver is all you need to remove the old plate and fit the new one.
Once screwed into place, it absorbs the friction caused by the pick before it reaches the finish: protection against scratches that also minimises the marks left by the forearm over time, offering protection against wear and tear from playing.
Designed for faithful restoration or specific customisation, this model is exclusively available for guitars in Jet Guitars’ JS480 series, with the JS480 at the forefront.
