The Joyo Dr.J D-55 effect pedal is perfect for fine-tuning a melody line or laying down a well-balanced rhythm. Thanks to its 3-position mini switch, you can adapt the circuit according to the input level: low, mid or high, depending on your instrument or playing style. In other words, it's just as suited to a guitar as a bass or even a synth.
By adjusting the compression and attack settings and, above all, the mix between dry and processed signals, you can quickly find a balance that enhances your playing without distorting it. With the compression turned all the way up, the pedal lengthens the sustain while retaining the clarity of the attack. On the other hand, by finely adjusting the mix, it can also be used as a highly musical clean boost. When switched off, its True Bypass circuit preserves the original signal. And thanks to its compact size, it slips easily onto any pedalboard.
