The Quilted Ash U-Bass from Kala stands out from the crowd. It stands out for the grain of its resonance wood, quilted ash. It is this wood that gives all its elegance to this electro-acoustic bass thanks to its irregular pattern and its color variations, ranging from pale yellow to dark brown.
Apart from its visual appeal, this fretted bass has a bright and articulate sound on all frequencies, clear highs, balanced mids as well as the tight bass for which the U-Bass was developed. If the quilted ash does not have the density of other resonance woods, you will still benefit from improved sustain and good sound projection.
Find on this model a UK-500B module serving as a tuner and preamp and a set of La Bella roundwound strings.
