Presentation
The Kawai KDP-120 Black is a top-of-the-range digital piano designed to offer an exceptional playing experience, whether you're a beginner or an advanced musician.
Featuring Responsive Hammer Compact II technology, this piano accurately simulates the feel of an acoustic piano thanks to improved cushioning material and realistic exhaust simulation. The sliding keyboard cover adds a touch of practicality and protection.
The Harmonic Imaging™ tone generator with 88-key sampling captures the richness and depth of piano sound. The KDP-120 offers a wide selection of sounds, including Concert Grand, Studio Grand, Mellow Grand, Modern Piano, and many more, allowing for great musical diversity. Maximum polyphony of 192 notes ensures that even the most complex passages are rendered seamlessly.
The KDP-120 features Virtual Technician's Smart mode with 10 presets, as well as an Advanced mode accessible via the Virtual Technician app, which allows detailed adjustments such as Touch Curve, Damper Resonance, and Hammer Delay.
Dual and Four Hands keyboard modes with adjustable volume allow flexible performance, while several types of reverb, such as Room and Concert Hall, enhance sound quality.
This piano has a built-in metronome with 7 different rhythms, plus a recorder capable of storing up to 3 songs and 10,000 notes. The lesson function offers learning pieces by Alfred, Burgmüller, Czerny and Beyer, and the piano also includes 15 demonstration pieces.
The KDP-120 is Bluetooth-enabled (Ver. 4.0, GATT compatible) and has USB-to-Host functions for optimum connectivity with other devices. Other features include damper resonance, low volume balance, brightness adjustment and spatial sound for headphones, ensuring an immersive and customisable playing experience.
The sound system is made up of two 12 cm speakers with a power output of 2x 20 W, ensuring powerful, clear sound diffusion. The piano consumes 15 W of power.
It is also equipped with three pedals (damper with half-pedal, sostenuto and soft), a folding music stand, and multiple sockets (MIDI IN/OUT, USB-to-Host, and two 6.35 mm and 3.5 mm headphone sockets).
