The Korg SV2S-88 is much more than a stage piano: it's a complete playing station designed for musicians looking for expressiveness, sonic realism and versatility. Its 88-key RH3 mechanism offers a heavy touch with progressive response, ideal for reproducing the nuances of the most sensitive playing, from classical piano to jazz, funk or pop.
The special feature of the SV2S-88 is its integrated K-Array speaker system, with passive radiators and 2x15 W amplification, for self-contained stereo playback. You can play, rehearse or compose without the need for external amplification, while retaining faithful, enveloping sound projection.
Thanks to EDS-X technology, the SV2S delivers an impressive wealth of sound: German, Austrian, Italian or Japanese acoustic pianos, as well as vintage electric pianos, electromechanical keyboards, organs, strings and pads. Every sound has been carefully sampled and placed in stereo space for immediate immersion. The direct interface lets you call up your favourite sounds at the touch of a button, while 64 memories let you save your personal settings.
When it comes to effects, the SV2S takes the approach of vintage racks: tube compressor, analogue modelling amp, chorus, rotary, reverb or tap tempo delay are all accessible via physical, assignable controls. The integrated 12AX7 tube adds character to saturation effects, adding warmth and grit to electric sounds or filtered keyboards.
Also designed with live performance in mind, the SV2S features split/layer functions, full MIDI management, an audio input for external sources, and balanced XLR outputs for professional stages. Its USB connectivity makes it easy to edit via the SV-2 Editor application, transfer sounds or use as a master keyboard.

Magnifique clavier Korg. Etant pianiste, je comptais sur un très bon touché et une bonne dynamique, et je ne suis pas déçu. Les sons de piano acoustique sont bons, parfaitement samplés. Certains pianos sont plus anecdotiques que d'autres, mais les grandes familles sont présentes (avec des noms ridicules à cause des copyrights). Je regrette un peu le fait que les sons de clavecins ne soient pas plus complets. C'est une famille de sons de "niche", mais pour moi ça compte. Les sons proposés ne sont cependant pas mauvais, et la concurrence ne fait pas vraiment mieux. Les sons de pianos électriques sont très bien aussi, complets et chaleureux. Le reste (cordes, cuivres, etc.) est pouêt pouêt comme toujours sur ce type de claviers. Mais c'est anecdotique de toute façon, on n'achète pas ce genre de clavier pour faire de la musique symphonique ni du big band. Aucun son de mallet, c'est dommage. La valve à lampe ajoute apparemment de la chaleur aux sons, difficile à prouver, mais très joli à regarder. Le design vintage est magnifique. Les baffles stereo de la version SV2S sont de très bonne qualité et du plus bel effet visuel (ça vaut cependant la peine de brancher les sorties audio sur une bonne sono externe, sorties XLR appréciées). L'interface (boutons clicables) est simple et facile d'accès. Pa d'écran, mais ça ne manque pas vraiment. On ne peut pas tout paramétrer depuis le clavier, il faut passer par le software (split, layers), mais c'est le prix à payer pour avoir une interface très épurée. La pédale de tenue fournie est correcte, mais plutôt médiocre (les patins patinent au lieu de stabiliser la pédale, boitier en plastique...). Prévoir un petit investissement supplémentaire pour une bonne pédale. Le porte-partition, amovible, est très appréciable, et indispensable à mon avis. Globalement, une grande réussite, un excellent clavier de scène qui peut aussi servir de clavier maître (attention cependant, pas d'aftertouch), un design hors du commun qui change de la tristesse visuelle habituelle dans ce domaine, très bon toucher, bonne famille de sons, interface limpide, mémoire hardware très augmentée par rapport à la version SV1 pour stocker ses patchs... Quasiment que du bon.

Ce clavier, superbe, est vintage aussi bien sur le fond que sur la forme . Vintage par les sonorités de pianos électriques qu'il propose ( fender rhodes , wurlitzer , CP80,etc....)et vintage par son look atypique . Très belle réussite !
