The KRK S8.4 subwoofer delivers rich, dynamic bass in any studio setup. But KRK has also equipped it with a set of practical controls to adjust its sound output to a variety of situations.
An exceptionally powerful crossover filter allows the S8.4 subwoofer to be matched to the monitor speakers you're currently using, with options to operate at 70, 80, 90 and 100 Hz. There are also switches for input sensitivity, reverse polarity, standby and ground to eliminate unwanted noise, allowing you to fine-tune your sound at the touch of a button.
And don't forget the Footswitch input on the S8.4, ideal for hands-free use, which lets you switch the subwoofer and crossover filter on and off (footswitch sold separately). All in all, the S8.4's many features make it the ideal companion for any installation.

Très bien. Bonne qualité de fabrication. Apporte une réelle différence. Le réglage du volume et la fréquence de crossover n'est pas évident si on se fie au manuel (pas trouvé de lien pour télécharger l'appli KRK qui est censée aider) mais il suffit de faire confiance à ses oreilles! Dommage que KRK ne fournisse pas (ou ne propose pas, au moins) un footswitch pour désactiver le subwoofer pour comparer le son avec et sans quand on mixe. Heureusement le produit était intact alors que le livreur avait déposé le colis devant la porte arrière de mon domicile (il y avait pourtant quelqu'un pour le réceptionner), sous la pluie, avec une déchirure dans les cartons extérieur et intérieur. Les blocs de polystyrène ont fait leur job!
