The KSD A200 MK2 studio monitor is a high-precision listening solution for audio professionals seeking uncompromising fidelity. This three-channel system incorporates cutting-edge technologies for remarkably accurate sound reproduction.
FIRTEC™ technology ensures a linear phase response, enabling a clear and detailed perception of every nuance, essential for critical decisions during mixing or mastering.
The A200 MK2's acoustic architecture includes a new mid-high unit with a 3-inch dome and 1-inch tweeter, integrated into an aluminium waveguide. This design promotes a homogenous sound field, whether the monitor is in a vertical or horizontal position. The 10-inch woofer delivers powerful, controlled low frequencies, extending beyond 28 Hz.
Performance is also at the heart of its amplification thanks to Direct Digital Drive (DDD) technology. This approach uses three PWM amplifiers (250W / 250W / 150W RMS) in a direct connection, without a converter, eliminating losses and guaranteeing exceptional sonic resolution and authenticity. The 24-bit FPGA signal processing handles FIR-Xover filtering and limiting, and offers various adjustment tools such as six user equalisers and shelving filters. With its analogue and AES3 digital inputs (up to 192 kHz), the A200 MK2 fits perfectly into any professional environment.
