This version magnifies the appearance of the monitor with the warmth and nobility of a cherry-coloured wood veneer, adding a distinctive touch of elegance to any production environment.
Beneath this sophisticated appearance is all the technology for which the A200 MK2 is renowned: the fearsome precision of FIRTEC™ technology for linear phase, and exemplary neutral sound reproduction for mixing and mastering.
The mid-high unit, with its 3-inch dome and 1-inch tweeter in an aluminium waveguide, is said to guarantee a homogeneous and detailed sound field, whether the speaker is positioned vertically or horizontally. The powerful 10-inch woofer would ensure a solid, articulate low-frequency response above 28 Hz.
Direct Digital Drive (DDD) technology, with PWM amplifiers totalling 650W RMS per speaker (250W / 250W / 150W RMS), is said to offer this lossless direct digital connection, synonymous with maximum sonic resolution and authenticity.
