Sire Larry Carlton's L5 Candy Apple Red electric guitar is a modern interpretation of the single-cut format, designed to combine resonance and control. Its mahogany body, topped by a hard maple top, delivers a balanced response and projection suited to different playing registers. The set-in mahogany neck ensures direct transmission of vibrations and natural sustain. Its C-profile and 24.75" scale provide a comfortable, even grip.
The Edgeless™ rosewood fingerboard, with its rounded edges, promotes consistent comfort and natural fluidity. The 22 Medium Jumbo stainless steel frets and 12" radius allow for precise execution, from solid rhythmics to melodic phrasing.
The LC Standard-2 humbuckers, combined with the 3-position selector and push/pull controls, offer a wide tonal palette, making it easy to switch from a powerful sound in double-coils to clearer textures in single-coils.
