Fender - American Professional Jazz Bass Maple Olympic White

Fender’s American Professional Jazz Bass Maple Olympic White embodies the very essence of the Jazz Bass® whilst incorporating enhancements designed to meet contemporary demands.

From the very first chord, its alder body, protected by a gloss polyurethane finish, complements a maple neck with a Slim “C” profile that moulds to the hand, delivering smooth playability across the entire 34-inch scale length. The maple fingerboard, with a 9.5-inch radius, features twenty Narrow Tall frets and discreet Black Dot inlays, ensuring precise attack and impeccable intonation, whatever register you’re playing in.

At the heart of the instrument, the two V-Mod III Single-Coil Jazz Bass® pickups deliver the model’s iconic tonal palette: warmth, bite and crystalline clarity, all controlled by two independent volume controls and a master tone control that allows for a subtle balance between the pickups to endlessly shape the tonal character.

The 4-Saddle HiMass™ Pro bridge, with its two string-mounting options—through-body or top-load—adjusts resonance and sustain to suit the musician’s preferences. The Fender Lightweight Vintage-Style tuners, with conical axles, ensure exemplary tuning stability, whilst the factory-fitted Fender USA 7250M Nickel-Plated Steel strings guarantee a crisp attack.

The 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard and nickel/chrome hardware lend the instrument a understated and elegant look. Supplied in its deluxe moulded case, this bass is ready to accompany bassists seeking versatility, both in the studio and on stage.
