The Martin Audio ACP-55T-W pendant speaker is a 2-way model designed for environments with open ceilings. It is aimed at locations that require clean sound diffusion without cluttering up the visual space. Its suspended format allows natural integration into areas such as restaurants, hotels or exhibition spaces.
It features a 5.25" bass driver combined with a 0.75" dome tweeter. This configuration provides balanced coverage of both music and speech. The sound reproduction remains legible for announcements as well as for a continuous sound environment.
The 150° conical coverage allows the sound to be diffused widely. This reduces the number of speakers needed to cover an entire area. Installation becomes simpler in large spaces.
The system operates on a 70V/100V line with several selectable wattages. It can also be used with low impedance 16 ohms depending on the configuration. This flexibility means it can be adapted to different types of audio installation.
The 50W AES power handling capability means it can be used in a wide range of sound reinforcement environments. The SPL level achieved provides effective coverage of busy areas. Behaviour remains stable even with prolonged use.
The UL94V-0 certified ABS enclosure is designed to meet installation requirements. The steel grille, with no visible edge, gives a clean visual appearance. It can be easily removed without tools for maintenance.
The system incorporates thermal protection on the bass and treble sections. This limits the risks in the event of an overload. Operation remains reliable over time.
