The Martin Audio WPC-B line array loudspeaker is a compact 3-way bi-amplified unit designed for medium-sized installations and tours. It uses independent LF, MF and HF sections with constant directivity control for even coverage. Its robust IP54 design and integrated rigging system allow up to 16 units to be deployed in a suspended array.

Presentation
The Martin Audio WPC-B line array loudspeaker is a medium-format 3-way bi-amplified system designed for touring, festivals, venues and fixed installations. It features 2 x 10" LF drivers in Hybrid® configuration that combine horn and reflex for high sensitivity and remarkable low-frequency extension.
The midrange section features 2 x 5" drivers on dedicated horns, ensuring clear, intelligible vocal reproduction with 100° of constant horizontal directivity. The high-frequency section is based on 4 0.7" compression drivers, each with its own horn, offering a detailed top end with low distortion.
Each speaker is optimised for a maximum sound pressure level of 135 dB, with the possibility of creating a suspended array of 16 units capable of projecting sound over 60 metres. The array is controlled and optimised using DISPLAY 3 software and the iKON iK42 amplifier, ensuring consistent coverage and exceptional sonic accuracy.
Its birch/poplar multi-ply construction with black textured paint stands up to demanding conditions, and its IP54 rating protects against dust and water jets. The speakers feature side and rear handles for easy handling, and a rapid 3-point rigging system for assembling arrays.
The WPC provides scalable resolution, adjusting the number of amplifier channels per enclosure for precise control of gain, coverage and coherence. Each unit can be identified by an LED indicator that can be controlled by the VU-NET software. Horizontal dispersion of 100° and vertical dispersion of 10° facilitate uniform coverage and reduce unwanted reflections.
This compact system offers the power and clarity of larger elements while saving transport space and simplifying installation. It is particularly well suited to events requiring uniform sound reproduction over long distances and maximum intelligibility. The WPC-B is compatible with both fixed and mobile configurations and forms the core of the Wavefront Precision range for integrators and sound reinforcement providers.
