Presentation
The Martin Audio WPC-W line source loudspeaker is a 3-way bi-amplified line array designed for live applications and medium-sized installations. It uses 2 x 10-inch Hybrid® drivers that exploit a combined horn and bass-reflex loading to achieve extended bass response in a compact format.
The midrange section is based on 2 x 5-inch transducers mounted on a dedicated horn, providing clear reproduction of vocals and instruments in the critical area of the spectrum. The treble section relies on 4 x 0.7-inch compression drivers, each feeding its own horn to maintain constant definition even at high levels.
Horizontal dispersion of 100° remains stable throughout the useful band, facilitating even coverage of the audience. The 10° vertical directivity can be adjusted by the angle between the elements, so you can adapt the sound pattern precisely to the configuration of the venue.
The WPC-W achieves a maximum sound pressure level of 135 dB and can be deployed in arrays of up to 16 loudspeakers to cover long distances. The system is optimised using DISPLAY software, in conjunction with iKON multi-channel amplifiers, to fine-tune response and sound distribution.
Its multi-ply wood structure with a resistant white finish blends in easily with sophisticated architectural environments. The IP54 rating guarantees protection against water splashes and dust, making it ideal for use outdoors or in exposed locations.
The integrated 3-point rigging system simplifies the attachment and mounting of arrays, while the handles make on-site handling easy. The design allows for scalable resolution management depending on the number of amplifier channels used.
Each enclosure can be identified by a remotely controlled LED indicator, practical for complex configurations. This model meets the needs of service providers and integrators looking for a compact system with a high level of control.
