The Martinez Torres Mahogany 1/2 RN resonates with exceptional clarity from the very first pluck. Its classic 1/2 Torres body shape ensures a comfortable grip, reducing fatigue in smaller hands during long playing sessions. The combination of a mahogany neck and a Spanish-style construction transmits every vibration to the body, amplifying the natural resonance of the woodwork.

Part of the Torres series, the instrument showcases fine timbers. The Indian rosewood back is paired with a mahogany back and sides to produce round bass tones, balanced by a responsive solid cedar top. A high-gloss PU body finish accentuates the maple and ebony purfling on the top, the mosaic rosette in inlaid natural wood, and the Indian rosewood top binding. On the back, the purfling on the back and sides elegantly highlights the contours.

This right-handed version features 6 strings fitted to an original Martinez set. The rosewood fingerboard has 12 frets extending to the body, making a total of 20 frets, guided by a mother-of-pearl marker discreetly positioned at the 7th fret. The bone nut and bone bridge saddle, with a nut width of 50 mm, support a prolonged sustain, stabilised by an Indian rosewood bridge. An adjustable double-action truss rod adjusts the neck curvature, whilst the gold-plated Martinez Hauser Munich Torres DF69 tuning machines with a gold-plated hardware finish ensure accurate tuning.
