The Martinez Performer MSCC-14 All Maple is first and foremost defined by its relationship with the body. This 4/4 cutaway electro-acoustic classical guitar from the Performer series features a 70 mm body that sits close to the torso. Its side soundhole adds another dimension to playing, with the sound travelling directly back to the guitarist’s ear.

Solid maple covers the top, back and sides, offering a clear and dense acoustic tone. The gloss finish highlights the wood’s grain when caught in the light. The mahogany neck, with its C-shaped profile, joins the body at the 14th fret and allows the hand to move up towards the treble. The rosewood fingerboard features 24 frets and mother-of-pearl inlays. With a scale length of 25.59" (650 mm), the neck retains the classic length expected of this body style. The double-action truss rod allows for precise adjustment of the neck’s curvature, whilst the 1.89" (48 mm) bone nut spaces the strings comfortably beneath the fingers. The rosewood bridge and Martinez tuning machines round off this instrument with consistency right down to the finest details.

The piezo pickup under the nut and the Fishman Presys Blend preamp provide a wide range of settings for amplified playing. The volume control and 3-band EQ shape the tone, whilst the pickup/piezo blend control allows you to adjust the balance between the two sources. The built-in tuner keeps the tuning under control, whilst the phase inverter and anti-feedback filter help to better manage the monitor signal on stage.
