As soon as you place it on your lap or on a table, this Meinl OSTD1BKE tongue drum takes you away. With its 9 notes in D Kurd, it offers a complete range for creating zen and meditative atmospheres.
In the middle, the low note serves as an anchor for all your improvisations. Around it, 8 other metallic tongues resonate at two pitches for a rich, enveloping effect. Made from stainless steel, this tongue is durable.
Three silicone feet are attached to the underside of the instrument for stability. You can use it with your fingers or the two mallets supplied, depending on your mood. By closing the hole under the drum with the plug (also supplied), the sound becomes shorter and more intimate.
Its black look and pretty engraved floral motif give it a real touch of elegance and spirituality. During relaxation sessions, it helps you to let go. And thanks to the zipped cover included, you can take it anywhere: outdoors, in a park or by the water...
