Mipro - ACT-848

MIPRO's ACT-848 is the quad-channel version of the ACT-800 series, designed for installations where multiple HF links need to be managed without compromise. Working in UHF with a bandwidth of 72 MHz, it opens up a wide spectrum of available frequencies, making it possible to integrate up to 12 compatible channels per band and effectively avoid interference. With 7 pre-registered groups totalling 224 channels and a customisable user mode, it gives sound engineers the freedom to adapt their system to any environment.

Each channel benefits from digital diversity technology, ensuring stable, drop-out-free reception, even in the most complex propagation conditions. On the playback side, DSP processing and a D/A converter guarantee consistent audio quality, free from analogue artefacts and close to that of a wired microphone. Dynamic range exceeds 120 dBA, with latency contained to just 2.9 ms, placing the system in a reactive and transparent category.

The front panel features a colour VFD screen, rotary knob and navigation keys, as well as a headphone output with volume control. At the rear, the connectivity is complete: analogue outputs with switchable levels, AES/EBU digital output, and Dante or AVB options for network integration. Each channel has its own dedicated audio output and three selectable gain levels, ensuring optimum adaptation to all types of microphone.

The receiver also features 256-bit encryption for secure transmissions, plus 10 EQ and anti-feedback presets. Its compatibility with the MIPRO Wireless Console software makes it easy to analyse frequencies and monitor several receivers in cascade. Built in a full-width 19-inch rack, the ACT-848 integrates effortlessly into professional configurations requiring power, flexibility and reliability.
