Mipro - ACT-525

MIPRO's ACT-525 is a dual-channel UHF receiver designed for those who want to manage two wireless transmitters simultaneously in a single compact unit. Building on the expertise of the ACT-7 series, it incorporates a 24 MHz narrowband true diversity circuit that guarantees stable reception over long distances, while reducing the risk of clipping and limiting intermodulation.

The front panel features a two-colour backlit LCD display that automatically switches between standby and active modes for clear playback in all situations. Navigation buttons and a central thumbwheel allow quick adjustment, while the Auto Scan function identifies available frequencies, making set-up easy. ACT synchronisation ensures instant pairing with compatible transmitters in the ACT-500 range.

The receiver offers 7 pre-programmed groups totalling 80 channels, plus a user group for saving up to 16 of the 961 frequencies available. A built-in RF interference indicator and exclusive PiloTone & NoiseLock circuits help to secure transmission and optimise squelch adjustment. Each channel has independent audio outputs, with three switchable gain levels on balanced XLR and unbalanced jack. A mix output allows the two channels to be combined on a single link.

With a frequency response of 50 Hz to 18 kHz and a dynamic range in excess of 111 dBA, the ACT-525 ensures clean, faithful reproduction. It can also be fitted with an optional Dante interface, enabling it to be integrated into a digital audio network. Its 19-inch rack construction and universal 100-240 V AC power supply make it a robust receiver, suitable for both fixed installations and mobile configurations.
