Presentation
The MXL DX-2 is the first dual-capsule dynamic microphone that lets you modulate the sound from one capsule to the other, changing the pick-up pattern between cardioid and super-cardioid to pick up ambient sounds.
The design of the microphone is unique in that it is flat on one side to allow the capsules to be close to the source for optimum pick-up, while the opposite side is rounded with a cross fade, to make the desired adjustments between the two capsules.
