This pedal offers an impressive range of smooth, musical tones, from a thick growl to chest-shaking dub sounds, all in a space-saving mini-box.
The Vintage Bass Octave's voice is rich and husky, and it takes place in two stages: one octave down and two octaves down. Each can be adjusted separately with the Oct 1 and Oct 2 volume controls, and a Dry volume control to dial in your clean signal, so you can concoct the right mix for your rig.
For greater clarity and definition, use the Mid switch to boost the midrange of your clean signal at 800 Hz by +6dB.
Want even more boost? Simply remove the bottom plate and adjust the internal potentiometer up to +13dB.
Finally, this pedal is equipped with Constant Headroom Technology, a custom circuit that provides a clean, crystal-clear headroom by producing 18 volts from a 9-volt power source.
