MXR - M69 Prime Distortion
A warp like any other? Certainly not! Even though countless manufacturers feel obliged to offer their own effects pedals, only three or four brands, inevitably historic ones, hold the upper hand. One of these is MXR, which has been seducing the greatest guitarists for over forty years, including Jimmy Page and Keith Richards, to name but a few. And when it comes to distortion, the effect most used by guitarists, the war rages on. And yet, finding the right balance between killer overdrive and the singular grain of fuzz is a challenge. And that's where the Prime M69 really comes into its own, thanks to its highly effective settings: output level, distortion ratio and, above all, a tone knob which, after midday, reduces the bass, of course, but gives a real boost to the treble.
