A stage keyboard that heralds the sixth generation of the Nord Electro series, offering a 61-note waterfall semi-ballasted keyboard with physical drawbars and a host of new features - it's hard to imagine how Clavia can still manage to outdo itself! The Nord Electro 6D 61 includes a simplified user interface inspired by the Nord Stage and a number of technological developments taken directly from the brand's latest keyboard, the Nord Stage 3.

Presentation
The Nord Electro 6D 61 is an exceptional stage piano, designed to deliver unrivalled musical performance with remarkable flexibility and functionality. Featuring a Waterfall keyboard with semi-weighted keys, this 61-note (C to C) model is velocity-sensitive and has physical harmonic sliders for an authentic playing experience.
The Nord Electro 6D 61 incorporates three independent sound modules: Piano, Sample Synth and Organ, allowing a variety of sound combinations in Split or Layer modes (Piano/Orgue, Piano/Sample Synth, Sample Synth/Orgue). With six keyboard split points, indicated by LEDs, and a completely revised Program section including a 'Set List' mode, this keyboard is optimised for live performance. The OLED display offers clear, enhanced visibility, essential for fast, intuitive navigation.
New features of the Nord Electro 6D 61 include seamless transitions for program changes without sound interruption, and advanced layering and splitting, inspired by the Nord Stage 3, allowing three sections to be played simultaneously with crossfade. Programme management has been improved with new copy-paste and move functions. The Organ section benefits from two new liturgical organ models, while the Piano section incorporates a filter found on the Nord Stage 3. The Synth section is now independent, with extended memory and polyphony.
The Nord Electro 6D 61 allows flexible sound combinations thanks to Split and Layer modes, with a storage capacity of 1 GB for samples from the Nord Piano Library and 256 MB for samples from the Nord Sample Library. The OLED display provides an improved overview, and the six pre-defined LED keyboard split points make setup easy. The Program section has been completely redesigned to include a Set List mode, allowing you to organise and access your presets quickly.
The Piano section benefits from sympathetic resonance for richer, more realistic sound reproduction. The dedicated Sample Synth section offers Attack/Release and Dynamic controls for precise sample manipulation. The Organ section, with its physical harmonic drawbars and two additional liturgical organ models, features the B3 Tonewheel Bass function to provide classic 16" and 8" left-hand harmonic drawbars and a Leslie 122-type rotary speaker simulation. The Half Moon Switch can also be installed to control the rotary speaker emulation.
All the effects are now in stereo, with a tube overdrive simulation for warmer, more saturated sounds. The Vibe effect adds depth and movement to sounds, while the Reverb and Delay effects are separated for more precise control. Effects such as Tremolo, Pan, Ring-Mod and Wah-wah can be controlled via the footswitch.
Connections on the Nord Electro 6D 61 include two unbalanced 1/4" audio outputs, a 3.5" stereo monitor input routed to the headphone output, a 1/4" headphone output, as well as inputs for the footswitch, sustain pedal and rotary speaker speed control. The Nord Electro 6D 61 also features MIDI In and Out ports and a USB port for MIDI transfer and connection to Nord software.

- Advanced keyboard layering and sharing. The Nord Electro 6 has 3 independent sound sections capable of playing simultaneously (organ, piano and sample playback). They can be assigned to one of two playing zones (6 available sharing points identified by LEDs) and you now benefit from the crossfade from Nord Stage 3.
- Improved programme section. Nord Electro has an 'organisation' mode that lets you copy, paste or move programs from one place in memory to another, so you can organise the programs in memory as you see fit.
