Ideal for gigging, performing or studio recording.
Presentation
At the heart of this instrument, the dual piano engine guarantees 120-voice polyphony, with the option of superimposing two independent layers of piano. The Nord Piano Library has 2GB of dedicated memory, providing direct access to a wide range of acoustic (grand and upright), electric, digital, harpsichord and layered pianos. Each category offers numerous models, with Soft, Mid or Bright settings, Dyno effects for electric pianos, and Generation 2 string resonance.
The Nord Piano 5 88 also features a sample engine offering over 40 voices of polyphony. You can load instruments from the Nord Sample Library to enhance your parts with orchestral sounds, voices or synthetic textures. The built-in effects, accessible by layer, include classic modulations (tremolo, pan, phaser, flanger), a Ping-Pong delay, deep reverbs (up to Cathedral), an EQ, a compressor and amp modelling.
The 'Live' section lets you quickly store 5 settings in situ. The ergonomics are designed for the stage: splits with crossfades, smooth sound transitions, 400 user slots divided into 16 banks of 25 programs, a clear OLED screen, and full compatibility with Nord pedals (Sustain, Triple Pedal, Volume).
With its MIDI, USB, 6.35mm audio outputs, headphone and monitor inputs, the Nord Piano 5 88 is the perfect addition to any stage setup or professional studio. It combines the flexibility of digital with the soul of acoustic instruments to deliver a fluid, natural and inspiring playing experience.
