Electric Guitar Effects

The MG-400 houses 2 powerful DSPs for the high-definition White-Box amp modelling algorithm and Core-Image post-effects.

ARTICLE N° 87728
The MG-400 is a multi-effects modelling pedal with the same added value as its little sister, the MG-300.

Since the release of the MG-300, guitarists have been blown away by the sound and playability, not to mention the ease of use of the sound control and intuitive interface.

Now the MG-400 builds on the MG-300's mobile signal blocks, with 12 IR COLLECTION slots, a flexible P.L. block with MIN and MAX parameter settings, an abundant SYSTEM MENU and a physical MASTER volume knob, the MG-400 is now the ultimate multi-effects modelling pedal.

The White-box Amp Modeling & Pre-Efx algorithm offers realistic playability and response to analogue chaos.

The concept of "Chaos makes the muse" applies perfectly to the analogue circuit. When you adjust the knob, it affects itself and other parameters. For a linear digital system, the parameter is independent. The white box algorithm provides real-time feedback, increment by increment. NUX TS/AC-HD reproduces the same playability that most guitarists look for in a real tube amplifier.

The MG-400 features a multiple impulse response of 512 samples each. You can load third-party IR files using our NUX QuickTone editing software (sample rate support up to 48kHz). The 25 included guitar speaker IRs combine 4 classic pickups with 3 mic positions to give beginners a quick and easy way to get started with the multi-effects experience. Also included are 8 bass amp IRs and 3 acoustic guitar IRs, allowing you to play bass on the MG-400 or use an electric guitar to simulate the sound of an acoustic guitar.

Use Scenes mode to activate/deactivate the blocks with either CTRL switch.
You can assign CTRL1 or CTRL2 to trigger the SCENE function. Each preset has 3 scenes, which are snapshots within a preset. This is a powerful feature for live concerts. Each SCENE can freely engage/disengage signal blocks and retains DELAY/REVERB trails when disengaged with SCN CTRL.*.

The freely downloadable QuickTone editor provides an intuitive interface for adjusting parameters, dragging block order, configuring SCN, saving patches, loading patches, exporting patches, loading IRs, configuring USB routing and CTRL SETTING.
