Presentation
The Pearl Decade Maple DMP905C-207 drum kit, in its Ultramarine Velvet finish, catches the eye as well as the ear. The deep, almost electric blue gives the whole thing a real personality. It looks as if it has just stepped out of a New Orleans jazz club.
In terms of sound, the 6-ply 100% maple drums make a clear difference. The result is a warm, well-defined sound with enough projection to be heard without being too aggressive. The fusion configuration features a 20" bass drum, 10" and 12" toms, a 14" bass tom and a 14 "x5.5" snare drum, so you can play a wide range of instruments, from funk to rock.
The set comes with the HWP-830 hardware pack: the Demonator P-930 pedal, the H-830 hi-hat stand and 2 cymbal stands (one straight, one mixed). You'll have everything you need to set up your setup straight out of the box!
The bass drum mini-muffler is already built in, so you can control the bass without having to fiddle with home-made solutions. In rehearsal, in the studio or on stage, it's a real time-saver. And as always with Pearl, the finish is meticulous. Nothing looks cheap, everything is designed to last.
