Presentation
The Pearl STS904XPC-851 drum kit features the DNA of Pearl's recording kits. The 5.4mm EvenPly-Six drums combine birch and African mahogany for a balanced sound. This combination brings out a clear attack while retaining a warm sound base.
The 10" x 7" tom remains precise and easy to control. The 12" x 8" tom provides a smooth transition between midrange and bass. The 14" x 14" bass tom develops controlled depth without spilling over. The 20" x 14" bass drum produces a clean, focused low end.
The 60° external chamfer promotes projection while keeping the sound contained. The 2.3 mm SuperHoop II hoops contribute to a smooth, even response. The OptiMount system lets the toms vibrate freely. The RL-10 and RL-20 shells ensure a stable, discreet fit.
Remo UT Pinstripe skins on the toms help the overall balance of the kit. The Powerstroke 3 skin on the bass drum helps frame the low frequencies. The integrated mini muffler lets you quickly adjust the kick response. Finally, the Emerald Ash finish adds a modern, elegant aesthetic!
