The DDJ-REV5 from Pioneer DJ has been designed for DJs who like to feel the music under their fingers.
Its "battle" layout is directly inspired by pro scratch setups: large motorised jogs, precise and fluid MAGVEL fader, horizontal tempo faders and luminous pads that fall perfectly to hand. The whole thing exudes live performance and the desire to kick some serious ass.
Under the bonnet, it's a real monster of creativity. You can isolate Stems (vocals, drums, instruments, etc.), create live mashups, and even use the Auto BPM Transition function to change tempo without losing the groove.
Piano Play, meanwhile, turns your pads into a keyboard to play melodies in semitones - perfect for adding a musical touch to your mix.
When it comes to transport, this pack includes the Walkasse Eva-Case Pickfoam XXL Wheel, a moulded case made from rigid EVA with Pick n Pluck foam to wedge your controller in place. The shell is light but armoured, lined with soft velvet and a 1680D ballistic nylon coating that stands up to anything. And with its invisible YKK closure, smooth-running wheels, trolley handle and padded shoulder strap, it's ready for both touring and weekend sessions.

The large jog wheels are responsive, reliable and easy to use, and customisable thanks to the Jog Feel function, to help you find the perfect "weight". The MAGVEL FADER is smooth, robust and ready to translate every little movement for precision scratching.
- Scratch-style layout for open-format freedom:
The DDJ-REV5's long tempo sliders run horizontally above the turntable sections while the performance pads and FX lever are placed in the mix section for dynamic performances, emulating the PLX series turntable + DJM-S series mix setups loved by open-format DJs around the world.
- Dedicated buttons for easy control of Stems:
It's easy to create live mashups and remixes using the DDJ-REV5's Stems buttons. Tracks are divided into different Stems in the software that can be played separately.
- New Auto BPM Transition:
Mixing between musical genres with very different tempos is easy, thanks to the new Auto BPM Transition function.
DJs can choose a number of bars for the transition and, when the dedicated button is pressed, the track currently playing will gradually change tempo to match the track loaded on the other deck so that the new track can be mixed or inserted at the perfect moment for a smooth transition.
- New Piano Play mode:
DJs can express themselves musically on the DDJ-REV5 thanks to the new Piano Play mode. The 16 performance pads can be used to trigger a cue point in different semitones with the pitch changes arranged so that the pads form a keyboard with the 'white' keys on the bottom row and the 'black' keys on top, just like on a piano.
- Multiple inputs and outputs plus 2 USB-C ports:
The DDJ-REV5 can form the centrepiece of a larger setup thanks to its wide variety of inputs and outputs, including an XLR master output and 2 USB-C ports for PC/Mac, making it easy to switch between DJs.
- Plug-and-play Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox compatibility:
When the DDJ-REV5 is plugged into a PC/Mac running the latest version of Serato DJ Pro or rekordbox, the corresponding application can be used free of charge.
