Its passive operation guarantees maximum signal transparency, avoiding any coloration or degradation associated with an active circuit.
Designed to drive a pair of stereo studio monitors, the MC 2 allows the listening level to be finely adjusted using a precision volume control. This approach ensures a gradual, controlled variation in sound level, which is particularly appreciated during mixing or mastering phases when listening coherence is essential.
The MC 2's versatile connectivity makes it easy to integrate in a wide variety of configurations. It accepts both balanced and unbalanced sources, making it compatible with the majority of audio interfaces, compact consoles and external players. The balanced outputs can be used directly with active monitoring speakers, while maintaining excellent immunity to interference.
The controller also incorporates practical functions for everyday use. The mute button instantly cuts the signal to the speakers, useful when changing connections or taking a break. The mono switch lets you quickly check the mono compatibility of a mix, an invaluable tool for checking balance and phase.
