In standard true bypass circuits, the instrument signal passes through two switching contacts when bypassed.
The VLC-1's Single Contact True Bypass configuration ensures that the signal passes through only one switching contact when bypassed, for unrivalled signal quality and reliability.
As well as indicating the on/off status of the pedal, the LED provides effective visual monitoring of battery power.
When the battery voltage falls below 7 volts, the LED becomes dimmer and starts to go out.
The effect will still work at this voltage, but to ensure optimum performance, the battery should be replaced as soon as possible.
