The 5050 Matte White floorstanding speaker pair from Q Acoustics adopts C³ Continuous Curved Cone™ technology to ensure a smoother transition between high frequencies and mid/bass, while enhancing dynamics in the lower end of the spectrum. Its hermetically sealed, mechanically isolated tweeter limits internal cabinet resonances to preserve stereo imaging accuracy and clarity of detail. Thanks to Point-2-Point™ bracing and Helmholtz HPE™ pressure equalizers, this pair offers controlled low-frequency reproduction and a stable soundstage suitable for high-fidelity listening.

Presentation
The Q Acoustics 5050 Matte White pair of floorstanding speakers has been developed to deliver a full, balanced sound reproduction in an elegant format with a contemporary design. Its acoustic architecture is based on C³ Continuous Curved Cone™ technology, designed to improve integration between the high frequencies and the midrange/bass to achieve a more coherent response and better control of transients.
The two 150mm drivers benefit from an optimised design to increase power handling and enhance low-frequency impact. The 25mm tweeter, directly inspired by the Concept series, is housed in a hermetically sealed, mechanically isolated compartment to limit the influence of internal cabinet vibrations. This structure helps to preserve the precision of detail and the stability of the stereo image.
The cabinet also incorporates Point-2-Point™ internal bracing to stiffen the structure and reduce parasitic vibrations. Helmholtz HPE™ pressure equalizers, meanwhile, help to reduce standing waves and internal pressures. With a high sensitivity of 91.8 dB and a frequency response down to 37 Hz, this pair of speakers easily adapts to many hi-fi configurations.
