Presentation
The Radial Reamp Station is a tool designed to meet the needs of musicians and sound engineers looking to combine direct recording and re-amping in the studio.
This innovative device combines two essential features in a single, robust enclosure: an active direct box to capture clean signals from your instruments, and a passive reamp to rework these tracks through amplifiers and effects pedals.
The direct box section of the Reamp Station uses an active circuit powered by 48V phantom power, ensuring a balanced and optimized signal for audio interfaces or mixing consoles.
Features include a buffer switch to preserve the tone of passive microphones and a -15 dB pad to handle high-output instruments, such as active basses.
On the reamp side, the technology is based on a passive circuit designed by John Cuniberti, a pioneer in the reamp industry. This circuit converts balanced signals into high-impedance instrument signals, ready to be sent to amplifiers or pedals. Dedicated controls adjust output level and shape the sound with low- and high-cut filters.
With versatile connections including XLR, TRS, and mini-jack inputs, the Reamp Station integrates easily into any studio setup. Its rugged 14-gauge steel construction ensures exceptional durability, while compatibility with rack-mount kits makes it easy to integrate into permanent installations.
Whether you’re new to reamping or an expert, the Radial Reamp Station offers a complete solution for enriching your sonic creations while maintaining pristine audio quality.
