The SGI Stereo TX Radial Transmitter transmits two unbalanced instrument signals in stereo over very long distances via a single Cat5 Ethernet cable, without noise or signal loss.

Presentation
The Radial Engineering SGI Stereo TX is aimed at guitarists and technicians faced with the physical limitations of traditional instrument cables. As distance increases, cable capacitance affects frequency response and exposes the signal to interference. SGI Stereo TX solves this problem by converting two high-impedance instrument signals into a balanced signal capable of travelling up to 100 metres on a single standard Ethernet cable.
Placed at the pedalboard output, the TX unit accepts two left and right jack inputs and transmits them simultaneously to the SGI Stereo RX receiver via a lockable RJ45 link. The signal remains entirely analogue, with no digital conversion, guaranteeing faithful reproduction of the original feel, dynamics and timbre.
The SGI Stereo TX also features two unbalanced Thru outputs for feeding a local amp or direct box. If only the left Thru output is used, the left and right channels are automatically summed to mono, avoiding any loss of sound content.
Thanks to the use of top-of-the-range Jensen transformers, the TX benefits from excellent galvanic isolation, effectively limiting hum and ground problems. Its flexible power supply, compatible with most pedalboard power supplies, makes it easy to integrate in the studio, on stage or in complex remote installations.
