Microphone preamp and effects loop for singers and instrumentalists, so they can insert guitar effects and activate them with their foot via the footswitch located on the right. The one on the left will be used to mute the output or bypass the wet/dry mix function depending on the assignment chosen.

The Voco-Loco is an effects loop pedal that allows the singer, saxophonist or trumpeter to integrate guitar effects into the signal chain, just as an electric guitarist adds effects into his solos.
The Voco-Loco is at its core a high quality mic preamp designed to accept both a standard dynamic or condenser microphone by activating the onboard 48V power supply.
A 2-band EQ with shelves for low and high frequencies adds warmth and depth to the sound. The signal is then routed to the guitar pedals via a high-impedance, transformer-based effects loop circuit for maximum isolation that features a 'send' and 'return', thereby optimizing the signal-to-noise ratio and reducing distortion.

The Voco-Loco also has a tone control on the feedback, which has the effect of smoothing out the excess shine of some pedals. The 'blend' allows the mixing between the direct and processed signal in order to refine the basis of the effect in the overall sound.
Simply plug your mic into the Voco-Loco via the XLR input, connect your effects pedals using standard jack cables, then connect the Voco-Loco's output to your console's input.
One switch activates the loop while the second offers a dual function, both as mute, to mute the microphone between songs or, as an effects loop with the mix at 100%, for special situations where the 'dry' signal ' is not desired.
