Rme - UNIRACK
The RME UNIRACK converts a standard 19-inch rack space into a mounting frame for 9.5-inch RME devices. This 1U 19-inch rack tray for RME devices features dedicated mounting holes as well as rear cable channels designed to organise external power supplies and relieve cable strain.
Presentation
The design of this new version utilises a reinforced material, providing greater stability to the mount. RME has also retained the grey/silver finish of its RM19-II adapters, ensuring a consistent aesthetic with the brand’s other mounting components.
The rear of the UNIRACK also plays a role in cable management. Openings allow external power supplies to be routed through and secured using cable clamps. Other cable passages can serve as anchor points to limit the tension placed on the connections. These features make the RME UNIRACK a 1U rack mount with cable management, suitable for installations where external power supplies and their cables must remain correctly positioned.
The mounting holes are designed for compatible 9.5-inch RME devices. RME points out, however, that the MADIface XT II is not compatible with this accessory. For the other devices in question, the UNIRACK serves as a universal 1U 19-inch RME rack tray, allowing their narrower form factor to be integrated into a standard rack infrastructure.
