The Roland FP-30X portable digital piano gives you access to the latest generation of 88-note keyboards from the FP series, in a compact format weighing approximately 15 kg.

The Roland FP30X's SuperNATURAL (modeling) sound engine and 256-voice polyphony deliver authentic sound and response. The FP 30X digital piano comes with 56 different sounds. So, once you've had enough of practicing, you can switch to one of the other 55 sounds for fun and variety while still using the keyboard.

The FP-30X isn't afraid to limit the expressiveness of your performances. It has 256-note polyphony, which means you can play 256 notes at the same time, and most importantly, hear each one at the same time. This is well above the polyphony limit of other alternatives in its class. This contributes to the realistic piano playing experience.

This digital piano features the Roland PHA-4 Standard 88-key weighted hammer action. This is the 4th generation of the renowned PHA piano hammer action, the same one Roland has installed on its high-end digital pianos. It's a step forward in terms of internal mechanism and noise reduction. These developments combine to deliver an experience even closer to that of an acoustic piano.

The key response is also similar to that of an acoustic piano. You have less weight on the high notes, and progressively more as you progress to the low notes. The sensors on each key provide a sensitive response, closely mimicking the way the keys respond on an acoustic piano. You can also adjust the touch sensitivity level to your preference. Your fingers will savor the keyboard's sumptuous touch with its Progressive Hammer Action and Ivory Feel keys, while the FP-30X's onboard speaker system will fill the room with rich, powerful sound.
