The Roland FP-30X portable digital piano gives you access to the latest generation of 88-note FP Series keyboards, in a compact package that weighs just under 15 kg.

The Roland FP30X's SuperNATURAL (modelling) sound engine and 256-voice polyphony deliver authentic sound and response. The FP30X digital piano comes with 56 different sounds. So once you've had enough of practising piano, you can switch to one of the other 55 sounds for fun and variety, while still using the keyboard.

The FP-30X isn't afraid to limit the expressiveness of your performances. It has 256-note polyphony, which means you can play 256 notes at the same time, and more importantly, hear every one of them at the same time. This is well above the polyphony limit of other alternatives in its category. This contributes to the realism of the piano playing experience.

This digital piano features Roland's PHA-4 Standard 88-key weighted hammer action. This is the 4th generation of the renowned PHA piano hammer action, identical to the one Roland has installed in its top-of-the-line digital pianos. It's a step forward in terms of internal mechanism and noise reduction. These developments combine to offer an experience even closer to that of an acoustic piano.

The response of the keys is also similar to that of an acoustic piano. You have less weight on the high notes, and progressively more as you move towards the lower notes. The sensors on each key provide a sensitive response that closely mimics the way the keys on an acoustic piano respond. You can also adjust the level of tactile sensitivity to suit your preferences.
