The Roland TR-1000 + Decksaver Cover bundle combines a modern drum machine with protection designed for heavy-duty use in the studio and on stage. The Roland TR-1000 drum machine features a hybrid architecture combining analogue, ACB, FM, PCM and sampling. It builds directly on the legacy of the TR-808 and TR-909 whilst significantly expanding the sonic possibilities. The step sequencer allows you to work with 16 steps per variation and up to 8 variations per pattern.
User patterns and kits offer a very large storage capacity, with 2,048 slots each. The sequencer tracks include 4 Layer tracks, 6 Single tracks and a Trigger Out track. The sound engines cover a wide range, featuring 16 analogue sounds, 75 ACB sounds, 7 FM sounds, 340 PCM sounds and over 2,000 samples. 16-bit sampling at 48 kHz ensures precise capture that can be used directly in projects.
The unit features a comprehensive set of advanced sequencing functions such as probabilities, loops, off-grid playback and the classic TR-REC. Performance functions include the Morph Cursor, snapshots and Motion Recording to evolve patterns in real time. In terms of effects, there are filters, compressors, reverbs and delays, as well as a wide range of digital and analogue effects. The TR-1000 app enables editing, preset management and real-time DAW integration.
The Cover Decksaver is moulded from smoked transparent polycarbonate to fit the machine’s chassis precisely. It protects the controls, faders and buttons from dust, liquids and accidental knocks. Its low-profile design allows certain cables to remain connected, depending on the setup. It’s a simple yet effective way to keep the TR-1000 ready for use between sessions!
