Akai - MPC One G2
The MPC One G2 is a compact, self-contained production station equipped with 16 pressure-sensitive pads and a sequencer designed for modern music creation without the need for a computer. Its eight-core G2 processor offers four times the processing power, allowing you to handle complex projects, virtual instruments and numerous audio tracks without any noticeable slowdown.
Presentation
It handles multiple audio tracks and plugins simultaneously thanks to its 8-core architecture, optimised for intensive music processing and the construction of structured projects in the studio with no noticeable latency.
The linear arranger on this new MPC One makes it easier to build tracks by organising musical sections with visual markers and a structure suited to clear, comprehensive music production projects.
Sections can be named and colour-coded to improve the readability of arrangements, offering clear organisation when working on long or evolving compositions in a modern studio environment.
The velocity-sensitive RGB pads allow for expressive finger-drumming control with a response tailored to the nuances of real-time performance on stage as well. Live performances thus benefit from stable responsiveness and smooth sample management to maintain a continuous creative flow during musical manipulation with precise integrated audio tracking.
The updated connectivity, with the addition of a USB-C port, centralises audio and MIDI exchanges with modern production environments to simplify hybrid studio workflows without direct technical complexity. Ableton Control mode facilitates project exchange between the MPC One G2 and production software whilst enabling native import and export with seamless track synchronisation.
The 64 GB of internal storage allows you to store numerous kits and projects whilst ensuring rapid access to essential data without slowing down your creative work. The disk streaming feature helps you handle large projects without overloading the memory, even with multiple active plugins and complex arrangements, for a stable, optimised continuous production workflow.
The MPC One G2’s integrated sound library brings together ready-to-use kits and virtual instruments from collaborations with specialist publishers to enrich a wide range of daily music productions.
