Signature Guitar
Designed as a baritone guitar in collaboration with Keith Merrow, Schecter's KM-6 MK-III EX Bariton Satin Black Open Pore features an extended 28" scale, ideal for very low tunings while retaining good string tension and tonal clarity. The electronics are streamlined for riffing, with a single Lundgren Black Heaven passive humbucker pickup in the bridge position and a simple killswitch in place of the volume and tone controls. The mahogany body with ash top and three-piece through-body maple neck construction (reinforced with carbon fibre rods) offer exceptional resonance and sustain.

Presentation
When you place your fingers on the multi-ply maple, walnut and padouk neck of Schecter's KM-6 MK-III EX Bariton, you immediately discover a rare stability, reinforced by carbon fibre rods, that allows you to attack without restraint.
The mahogany body, supported by a subtly stained ash top, provides a warm base, while the ebony fingerboard glides naturally under your fingers. The 12" to 16" radius and 24 stainless steel X-Jumbo frets encourage you to navigate between rumbling riffs and expressive flights of fancy with precision.
With an extended 28" scale, this guitar thrives in the lower registers, while retaining the tension of a more standard instrument. The bridge-mounted Lundgren Black Heaven pickup delivers full-bodied clarity without losing density. The Hipshot Hardtail bridge anchors every note with consistency, while the Schecter locking tuners reinforce tuning under stress.
The 'Satin Black Open Pore' design reveals the wood grain without extravagance, and the slim 'C' profile ensures immediate comfort for seasoned hands. Finally, the on/off switch simplifies the path from sound to signal - one touch, zero detours. With this guitar, you can explore low frequencies with finesse, without compromising on ergonomics or accuracy.
