Presentation
The Schecter Meegs PT EX Charcoal Burst is an instrument designed to push the limits of the low register. Developed in collaboration with Coal Chamber guitarist Meegs Rascón, this guitar features a 27.5" scale that unleashes the full power of low tunings without compromising clarity.
Its ash body, combined with a screw-down maple neck and maple fingerboard, provides a balanced sound base, with solid lows and clean highs. The 24 jumbo frets and Thin C profile guarantee fluid playability, ideal for both tight rhythms and incisive solos.
Schecter USA Brimstone pickups deliver an aggressive, precise sound, perfect for modern riffs. Thanks to the push-pull built into the tone, you can switch to split-coil and explore lighter, more dynamic textures.
Reliability comes courtesy of a semi-rigid Diamond VTT bridge, locking tuners and satin-finish gold hardware that combines elegance and robustness. Supplied with Ernie Ball Baritone strings, this guitar is ready to follow you on stage or in the studio.

Miguel "Meegs" Rascon is an American guitarist born on 6 April 1973, best known as the co-founder and guitarist of metal band Coal Chamber. Originally from Los Angeles, he formed the band in 1993 with vocalist Dez Fafara and bassist Rayna Foss. The band's name was originally "She's in Pain", before becoming "Coal Chamber". Rascon is renowned for his heavy, groovy playing style, often characterised by simple but highly effective riffs and a dense saturated sound, which largely defined the band's sonic identity on their self-titled albums (1997) and Chamber Music (1999).
