Presentation
The Shure QLXD2 N8CB H51 is a handheld wireless transmitter designed to deliver 24-bit digital audio quality and efficient RF spectrum management, making it ideal for conferences, live events and musical performances. It is part of the QLX-D series, known for its transmission stability and ease of use.
Featuring a Nexadyne™ 8/C cardioid dynamic capsule, this transmitter ensures clear voice pickup, while attenuating off-axis noise that can interfere with the main signal. Its cardioid pattern effectively isolates the user's voice while ensuring natural and faithful reproduction.
The QLXD2 N8CB H51 operates on the H51 frequency band (534 - 598 MHz), offering great flexibility in terms of RF spectrum management. It features an infrared Scan and Sync function, which allows the transmitter to be quickly synchronized with a QLXD4 or QLXD4D compatible receiver. Its AES-256-bit encryption protects the transmission from unwanted interception, ensuring reliable and secure communication.
Battery life is another key asset of this transmitter. It operates on two AA batteries for up to 9 hours of use, or with an optional SB900B lithium-ion battery, which extends battery life up to 10 hours. In addition, it is equipped with external charging contacts, compatible with the SBC200 and SBC800 chargers, allowing optimized power management.
In terms of design, the QLXD2 N8CB H51 stands out for its robust metal chassis, ensuring high resistance to demanding conditions. It also features a backlit LCD screen, which provides quick access to essential parameters such as frequency, remaining battery life and transmission power.
One of the highlights of this transmitter is the adjustable RF output power between 1 mW and 10 mW, providing an optimal balance between range and interference management. Thanks to its dynamic range of more than 120 dB, it reproduces every nuance with great precision, without the need to manually adjust the transmitter gain.
With its 100-meter range in open field, its intuitive design and its proven reliability, the Shure QLXD2 N8CB H51 is an essential choice for sound professionals looking for a robust and high-performance wireless solution.
