The SM86 capsule built into the SLXD2+/SM86 uses condenser technology to deliver a signal with a dynamic range of over 118dB, guaranteeing accurate reproduction of vocal nuances. Its cardioid pick-up pattern focuses on your voice and effectively reduces ambient noise, making it easy to work with stage monitors and in-ear systems.
With an extended frequency response and a sound pressure level exceeding 120 dB, this wireless system handles powerful vocals without perceptible saturation. Its 2-stage pop filter limits plosives, and the internal 3-point suspension reduces handling noise.
The SLXD2+'s RF management is based on automatic synchronisation between transmitter and receiver, which maintains the link even in congested environments. You can adjust the frequency, lock the controls or change the transmit power remotely via the dedicated mobile app or Wireless Workbench software, using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, to maintain constant control without interrupting the performance.
Battery life is up to 8 hours with 2 AA batteries (included) or an optional SB903 lithium-ion battery, making extended concerts and demanding recordings secure. Built-in AES-256 encryption protects the audio signal, providing reliable transmission in sensitive professional environments.
