Electric Guitar Effects
The Supa Funk is an old-school dual-band envelope filter, but with some totally modern twists! To find out more...
- Depth adjusts the width or peak of the envelope effect, allowing you to go from shallow waves to super sweeps in a matter of seconds.
- Freq sets the centre frequency of the filter, where counter-clockwise lets you focus on those beefy, dubby tones, while clockwise will give you brighter tones that really cut through.
- Direction adjusts both decay time and sensitivity. Going clockwise allows the envelope to trigger easily and keep it open for longer, while going anti-clockwise allows you to tame the trigger sensitivity and keep the filter decay shorter and brighter. Turning Sens fully anti-clockwise deactivates the envelope, allowing you to dial in fixed filter tones with the frequency knob, ideal for creating filtered lo-fi tones or classic wah-armed sounds.
- Color controls the second low-pass filter. Going anti-clockwise will give you brighter, cleaner filter tones, while turning this bad boy clockwise will bring out all the growl and girth you could wish for.
- Level lets you decide how much funk you want (we recommend LOUD), while the Direction toggle lets you get classic forward-sweeping filter tones to the left and shoot futuristic filter rockets to the right.
