The SPL Expansion Rack Black is an elegant and reliable solution for integrating your Phonitor 2, Phonitor 3, Phonitor 3 DAC or SMC 7.1 units into a 19″ rack configuration while increasing your monitoring possibilities.
It incorporates a passive 1-to-4 switch to route the stereo output of the installed unit to four separate pairs of stereo speakers, useful for comparing different listening configurations (nearfield, midfield, full-range, etc.). This passive routing involves no active electronics in the signal path and no power supply, thus preserving audio integrity.
