This approach is also reflected in the intelligibility analysis tools and adaptive background fade, which dynamically adjusts ambiences to preserve the clarity of voices without freezing the mix.

Nuendo 14 also strengthens its position in the world of video games through direct interaction with Wwise. Sound designers can listen to and adjust their sound effects in their real context even before exporting, which reduces the need to go back and forth and improves overall sound consistency. This fluidity is also reflected in the editing tools, with event volume curves that are quicker to manipulate, enhanced interval selection and intelligent detection of linked audio segments.

In terms of mixing and playout, Nuendo 14 has established itself as a central platform for immersive formats. The integrated Dolby Atmos engine, advanced Ambisonics support and extensive ADM export capabilities mean that you can work directly in the final broadcast formats, without relying on external tools. The modernised video engine, which is 4K and 8K compatible, guarantees reliable synchronisation between image and sound, even on heavy projects.
