Sonovente.com presents the Studiologic SL88 mk2 and Soft Case C bundle – a comprehensive package in which the 2.8-inch UX Logic colour display serves as the keyboardist’s control centre. One hundred programmes, organised into 24 groups, are ready to be recalled at the touch of a button, whilst four independent MIDI zones pave the way for ambitious performance set-ups. MIDI 2.0 compatibility ensures seamless integration with the latest software and instruments.

Beneath the keys lies a triple-sensor system coupled with integrated aftertouch – a combination that translates finger pressure into genuine acoustic expression. The keyboard’s sensitivity, key responsiveness, the balance between black and white keys, and the sensitivity of the aftertouch can all be adjusted independently, allowing you to tailor the keyboard to your hand rather than the other way round.

The SL Link protocol connects the SL88 mk2 to the Numa Player 2 for advanced software control. The Cycle, Stop, Play and Record transport controls directly operate Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase or any Mackie Control-compatible application, without having to switch between the keyboard and the mouse.

Two programmable modulation sticks complete the control centre: the first is a bidirectional spring-loaded stick that always returns to centre, whilst the second is a free-moving, multidirectional stick for effects that stretch over time.

For connectivity, the unit connects via a single USB-C port for audio, MIDI and power, complemented by a MIDI input/output, three pedal inputs and two 6.3 mm jack outputs for live performance or monitoring, not to mention a TRS headphone output. The bundle comes as standard with a mains adaptor, a USB-C cable and USB-A adaptors.

The Soft Case C, which completes the bundle, is a game-changer when it comes to transport. Its built-in wheels and three handles offer several ways to move it, from the floor to the boot of a car, and its polyester construction withstands the wear and tear of everyday use.

Inside, two straps keep the keyboard securely in place whilst on the move, surrounded by 20 mm of shock-absorbing foam, whilst a large external pocket keeps cables and sheet music within easy reach.
