Studiologic - Pack SL88 mk2 + Housse Size B

The Studiologic SL88 mk2 houses a fully-fledged control centre beneath its 88 keys, complemented in this bundle by the Studiologic Soft Case Size B. The 2.8-inch UX Logic screen displays 100 programmes organised into 24 groups, all accessible at the touch of a button.

The TP/110 hammer-action action utilises a triple sensor and built-in aftertouch to transform finger pressure into sonic expression. The keyboard’s sensitivity, key responsiveness, the balance between black and white keys, and the aftertouch sensitivity can all be adjusted separately.

Four independent MIDI zones and MIDI 2.0 compatibility enable multi-instrument set-ups, whilst the SL Link protocol connects the SL88 mk2 to the Numa Player 2 for advanced software control. The Cycle, Stop, Play and Record controls communicate directly with popular DAWs such as Ableton Live or Logic Pro.

Two programmable modulation sticks – one bidirectional spring-loaded stick and one free-moving multidirectional stick – round off the control set. A USB-C port combines audio, MIDI and power, supported by a MIDI input/output, three pedal inputs, two jack outputs and a TRS headphone output, with the mains adaptor supplied.

The Size B Soft Case takes on a whole new look when opened, with its 20 mm padding and soft interior protecting the keyboard, which is secured by Velcro straps. A front pocket and an internal compartment hold cables and sheet music, whilst the side handle or cross-body strap can be chosen depending on the day’s journey.
