Takamine - GB7C Naturel Signature Garth Brooks + étui

The Takamine GB7C Garth Brooks Signature combines a cutaway dreadnought body with a beautifully balanced solid cedar top. Its rosewood back and sides enhance the depth of sound and support both fingerstyle and strumming.

The cutaway dreadnought-style soundhole gives this guitar a very distinctive visual identity, but its function is not limited to aesthetics. This geometry required specific work on the bracing during development, as altering the body shape also changes the distribution of the top’s bracing and the balance required for its construction, with a design tailored to this unusual architecture and its specific, precise mechanical constraints.

The mahogany neck, joined to the body via a traditional and robust dovetail joint, features a rosewood fingerboard. The pegless bridge and its split nut complete a design geared towards the smooth transmission of vibrations, providing a precise feel across the entire range of the soundbox.

For amplification, the GB7C uses the CT4B II paired with the Palathetic pickup beneath the bridge saddle. The volume control, 3-band equaliser and built-in tuner remain directly accessible, facilitating quick adjustments on stage and simple management of the acoustic signal during performances, without adding to the number of controls to monitor, even when the tempo picks up.

The semi-rigid gig bag completes the package, offering a solution suited to regular travel by providing more structured protection than a simple soft gig bag, without taking up as much space as a traditional hard case.
