Recording and playback are supported on both decks.
In addition, TAPE 1 has pitch control and TAPE 2 has an RTZ function (Return to Zero: resets the counter to 0000).
The parallel recording function for TAPE 1 and 2 records audio simultaneously on both decks, creating two cassettes with the same source. A master tape and a distribution copy can be created simultaneously when immediate distribution is required after recording, avoiding the need to duplicate the master tape.
