Tascam - Boitier de scène Dante SB-16D
The Tascam SB-16D is a Dante stage box with 16 analog inputs and 16 analog outputs, designed for seamless integration with Sonicview consoles and other network equipment. With its Class 1 HDIA preamps, 32-bit converters and remote control via Tascam IO Control, it ensures exceptional audio quality and maximum flexibility for live and broadcast installations.
Presentation
With its 32-bit A/D converters and Class 1 HDIA preamps, it ensures a highly accurate audio signal, captured at the beginning of the signal path, and preserved throughout the audio chain.
Its integration with Tascam Sonicview consoles makes it an ideal extension for modern mixing systems. When connected to these consoles, it allows remote control of the preamp gain, and its inputs/outputs appear directly on the touch screens, simplifying use and operation.
The SB-16D also features an 8-in, 8-out GPIO interface, expandable to 16-in, 16-out when used with a Sonicview console, allowing advanced control by third-party systems.
On the network side, this enclosure is compatible with Dante Domain Manager (DDM), AES67, and SMPTE 2110, ensuring maximum interoperability with other professional equipment.
It features two redundant Dante ports, incorporating robust etherCON connectors for secure communication over Dante networks. In addition, a DC input allows for the addition of a redundant external power supply for increased reliability.
Designed for flexible installation, the SB-16D can be placed on the floor with oversized rubber feet for stability or mounted in a 19-inch (3U) rack using the included brackets. Its robust chassis and carrying handle make it easy to move between events and fixed installations.
The SB-16D is fully remote controllable using Tascam IO Control software, which is compatible with macOS, Windows and iPadOS. This software allows you to manage preamp gain, output levels, ambient noise compensation and other essential parameters.
With its Class 1 HDIA preamps, ultra-low noise floor (-128 dBu) and 110 dB signal-to-noise ratio, the Tascam SB-16D is the ideal solution for live sound, broadcast and fixed installation applications requiring impeccable audio quality and advanced network integration.
