Tascam - MA-BT240
The Tascam MA-BT240 is a compact amplifier/mixer designed for professional fixed installations. With its 240 W Class D amplifier, built-in Bluetooth receiver, mic and line inputs, and ducking and equalisation functions, it is ideal for commercial premises, meeting rooms, restaurants and public spaces.
Presentation
With a total power output of 240 watts, the MA-BT240 can drive both conventional low-impedance loudspeakers and 70/100 V line-fed public address systems. It delivers up to 2 × 120 W at 4 or 8 Ω or 240 W on a high-impedance line, offering a solution suitable for small to medium-sized installations.
Its built-in mixer features a mic/line input with a ducking function that automatically reduces the music volume during an announcement, as well as two additional line inputs for connecting various audio sources. The level controls on the front panel simplify day-to-day operation, whilst the Signal and Peak indicators make it easy to monitor levels.
The built-in Bluetooth 5.1 receiver enables wireless audio streaming from a smartphone, tablet or computer. Its antenna can also be mounted remotely to optimise reception depending on the venue’s layout.
The MA-BT240 also features a bass/treble equaliser, an output high-pass filter and a mono/stereo selector to precisely tailor the sound output to the installed system. Its half-width 1U rack-mount design allows for flexible installation on a shelf, a piece of furniture or in a rack using the optional AK-RM05 kit.
